   North Star   Buxus 'Katerberg'  ppaf, cbraf
                                                

 

A superb new hardy boxwood with a dense globe shape that requires little if any pruning.

Use it as a low mounded specimen or use it  form a low, dense, thick hedge. Either way you won't have to do much pruning to get a full, dense plant.

North Star has shiny dark leaves that maintain good winter color.

Developed By Gary Katerburg of Evergreen Nursery in Michigan.  

 

 

Why it's Better: Boxwood is a plant used for structure and formality in the garden and is also used to make low growing hedges. To perform this function the ideal boxwood should be hardy and dense. North Star delivers on both account and it also has very dark foliage making it especially attractive. It is a real stand out in our Boxwood trials.
